Artist Statement:
Who am I? I want people to look at my artwork and think about what it is
I am trying to say, step inside my work, there’s a lot going on inside there.
Emotional behaviour can be as expressive and as passionate as you want it to be
with a language of its own if you take the time to read it.
Most of my artwork is in pastel and oil, based on eyes; I have always found them
fascinating and interpret them in varying mediums which emphasise the moods and
emotions that I feel the need to convey - it’s an extension of who I am,
whether it be about society, anger, happiness, culture or just an expression of
mind.
More recently I have extended my own paintings into “graphic manipulation”
in which I can re-create my work into yet another dimension, giving a
more up to date feel to my creations, an addition to my portfolio.
