Stretched Canvas Details
Canvass are bonded to a 6mm MDF board which has a pencil edge route around the face edge with either a 19mm or 32mm kiln dried softwood frame behind the MDF giving either a 25mm or 38mm thick finished stretcher. The canvas is then stretched around and stapled on the back with either the image continuing around or the white of the canvas on the side. The back is then taped to cover the staples and the cut edge of the canvas. The canvas receives a sprayed lacquer finish, this both enhances the appearance and protects the image.

The most effective way that I have found to do the stretched canvas sample is if you choose one of your images you would like to use as a sample. E-mail me the image, I can then print it onto canvas and stretch it at A4 size. Emailed image should be cropped to 240mm x 337mm at 300dpi to allow for 2 sides to be left with no image and 2 sides to have the image wrapped. This then enables you and your customers to see which style they prefer without having to buy a sample of each.
